In 2017, Randy Kerber had the honor to be the composer for the movie “Cello”, and collaborated with vocalist Lara Fabian, cellist Lynn Harrell and lyricist Glen Ballard.

From cellomovie.com about “Cello”:

“Cello tells the story of master cellist Ansel Evans and his relationship with his granddaughter as he fights against ALS.” The script was developed from Director Angie Su's personal experience with a loved one who faced difficult end-of-life decisions.

“Cello’s” main title song, “Remember Me,” is performed by world renowned vocalist, Lara Fabian whose repertoire includes multi-platinum albums in both French and English language .“Remember Me”, was written by Randy Kerber and Glen Ballard, who worked with Lara on her hit English language debut in 1999.

For his farewell concert, Ansel Evans decides to play Edward Elgar's Cello Concerto in E minor, Op. 85. CELLO’s filmmakers along with Emmy® -award winning composer and arranger, William Ross went to great lengths to adapt the piece for screen, for Grammy® Award winning cellist Lynn Harrell. The result is "Ansel's Elgar," a four- minute piece that is wholly the character's own, recorded, acted, and performed by Lynn Harrell.
